Marcus and Missy Torrez have served the program as Lead Parent and Treasurer prior to serving as Directors. Their son participated in BluesEd for several years. They feel privileged to keep the program running for current and future BluesEd musicians.
Jeff and Patti Fries have been involved with the BluesEd program for several years, serving as Performance Coordinator and Volunteer Coordinator before taking on Directorship of the program. They have had two children in the program over the years. Although they no longer have a child in the program, they enjoy “being part of a village” as they continue to work with young musicians.
